The submission period for entries is from Jan 7th – March 21st. After the submission period the entries are open to public vote from March 22nd – April 1st (votes are permitted once per day on up to 3 different entries per person).
From 2nd – 5th April, the jury will select the finalists based on the number of public votes (an e-mail will be sent out to all entrants to remind them to seek votes for their entries from Facebook friends).
The winner out of these finalists will be selected by an independent jury. Finally the lucky winner will be announced on 6th April 2013.
All entries are moderated to ensure they are suitable for public viewing. Moderation can take up to 24 hours. Your entry will not appear until it has been moderated and approved.
Entrants must be over 25 years of age (or be travelling with someone over 25 years of age). This is because the driver of the hire car must be 25 years or over.
Finalists will be chosen based on public votes and the final winning entry will be chosen by judges from B&B Ireland and sponsors.
The image uploaded should reflect a ‘Gathering’ theme but can be taken anywhere in the world (i.e. does not have to be taken in Ireland).
The competition is open to all countries.
Any images with profanity, offensive, suggestive or vulgar content will be instantly disqualified.
The Judges decision regarding suitability of entries is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Automated entries, bulk entries or third party entries will be disqualified!
The contest is open to everyone with the exception of employees of B&B Ireland, sponsors, their families, agencies and representatives.
