TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE KIPLING VALENTINE EVENT
ARTICLE 1: ORGANISER
The company VF Europe BVBA, with its registered office in Fountain Business Park ñ C. Van Kerckhovenstraat 110,
2880 Bornem, BELGIUM, trade register number RPM 0405.039.138, will be organising a contest from 2nd
February to
14th February 2010 inclusive.
ARTICLE 2: PARTICIPATION
Any private individual aged 12 and over will be able to participate in the competition, wherever they come from.
Participation is allowed for employees of the Organiser and agencies liaised to this contest, although they wonít be
able to win a price.
Any participant who tries to commit fraud shall be excluded immediately. By submitting an entry the entrant is
deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms & conditions.
ARTICLE 3: COMPETITION PROCEDURE
In order to participate in the contest, you need to bring your love message to a participating Kipling Store and
post it on one of our love walls. There is no obligation to buy Kipling to be able to participate. Each participant can
post as many messages as he/she wants. The participants just need to post a message and write sufficient
personal data on the back of the message so Kipling can trace them afterwards.
The participating Kipling Stores can be found on the website ñ in the Specials-section.
ARTICLE 4: WINNERS
The jury of this contest shall consist of Isabel Van den Broeck (Marketing Manager Kipling) and Anja Desmedt (CRM
Marketing Coordinator) from the Kipling head office in Bornem - Belgium. The jury will choose randomly one
participant from each store. Each individual player can only win one prize.
ARTICLE 5: ENDDATE & NOTICE TO THE WINNERS
The contest shall end at 00h00 on 14th
February 2010. The participation to the contest needs
to be entered before that time and before the Kipling Stores are closed.
The winners shall be notified by email or telephone before the 15th of March 2010 at the latest. The winners have
up to 1 month to claim their prize: until 15th of April 2009.
ARTICLE 6: PRIZES
The following prizes can be won in this competition: one bag from the Rock Heaven collection, to be chosen by
the Shop Manager for each of the participating Kipling Stores.
ARTICLE 7: PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES
It can be demanded of the winners of this contest to participate in publicity concerning this promotion. The
organiser reserves the right to hand over the prize to the winner personally and use his or her name and any
photographs that may be taken during the ceremony for promotional purposes.
ARTICLE 8: RULES AND ACCEPTANCE
By simply participating in the competition, the participant shall unconditionally accept all the provisions of these
rules and any decision made by the organiser.
ARTICLE 9: COMMUNICATION
Except for the announcements by Organiser relating to the game, such as confirmation of registration, no
information shall be communicated about this competition in writing, by telephone or by any other means, either
during it or after it has finished. The list of winners shall not be published on the site.
ARTICLE 10: ANNULLMENT OF THE CONTEST
The organiser, or any other intervening private individual or legal entity, cannot be held liable if the competition or
the prize have to be interrupted, suspended or cancelled for reasons that are beyond its control.
ARTICLE 11: CHANGES TO THE PRIZES OR THE CONTEST
The organiser, or any other intervening private individual or legal entity, cannot be held liable if certain competition
conditions have to be modified due to force majeure. The organiser of this competition reserves the right to modify
the competition, its procedure or the prize if this is justified due to circumstances that are beyond its control or
could not have been foreseen.
ARTICLE 12: LIABILITY
The organiser cannot be held liable for any damage, regardless of its nature, that arises from participation in the
competition or the awarding of the prizes. It also refuses to accept any liability for errors relating to
(tele)communication (e.g. for technical malfunctions, letters that are lost or not delivered on time, etc.), misprints or
possible shortcomings of the prize.

Your personal data collected in the Registration Form on the website will be processed for selling purposes, the

and initiatives of VF, by post, telephone, e-mail, sms, mms, automated calling systems, fax, or any other electronic
communication means, by the above-mentioned entities.

above listed.

By subscribing on the competition, you expressly agree to the processing of your personal data, including the
transfer of your personal data outside the European Economic Area, as well as to receive promotional material by

ARTICLE 14: SUPERVISION AND HANDLING OF DISPUTES
In the event of force majeure, unforeseen circumstances or disputes, the organiser shall make any decision
necessary to ensure the smooth running of this competition. These decisions are final and no form of appeal
shall be possible. If any provision of these rules is declared invalid, this shall in no way affect the validity of
the other provisions. The titles of the articles of these rules are solely intended to simplify the reading of the
rules. If any interpretation issues arise or contradictions are found, these titles shall in no way affect the way
in which the articles of these rules are to be explained. This competition is governed by Belgian law. Only the
courts in Belgium shall have jurisdiction over this competition.
