THIS PROMOTION IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED, ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH FACEBOOK, INC. (“FACEBOOK”).
PROMOTION DETAILS
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The LG Optimus L Series Event (the “Promotion”) is made up of three sections: The Submission Period, the Broadcasting Period and the Poll Period. The following covers the Submission Period. There are two ways to participate in the “ LG Optimus L Series Event”:[1] Individuals are to submit your own “Timeless Moment” story or plan, which is unique and impressive for a chance to make it come true. [2] Vote for best “Timeless Moment” story for a chance to win a prize.
ELIGIBILITY
Every application to participate in this Promotion shall be made by a natural person worldwide (“Participant” or “Participants”) at least nineteen years of age who holds his/her own valid Facebook account. Entry and participation of this Promotion are free but you may only submit one story. Multiple votes are possible but multiple votes for one applicant is not valid. If you wish to be a Facebook user to participate in this Promotion, please refer to the Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and Facebook Principles at: www.facebook.com
Officers, directors and employees of the LG ELECTRONICS., Inc. and its respective parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising, promotional and judging agencies, persons engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for this Promotion, DOMO, Inc. (collectively, the "Promotion Parties"), and the immediate family members (parent, child, sibling, and spouse of each) of and/or persons living in the same household as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate.
Sponsor reserves the right to verify an individual’s eligibility to participate.
HOW TO ENTER
You can enter the Promotion by visiting the LG application on Facebook at www.facebook.com/LGMobile (the “Website”) anytime during the Submission Period: [1] If you do not already “Like” the LG Mobile Facebook page, click on the “Like” button; [2] click the “ L Series Event” tab and follow the on-screen instructions [3-A] submit your own “Timeless Moment” story(topic, motivation, interest and uniqueness of plan along with your basic information) [3-B] click "Vote" button to poll impressive stories.
You may enter by completing either step [3-A], [3-B] or both.
ENTRY DETAILS
[1] The Promotion(Submission) closes at 23:59 GMT on April 11, 2012 via LG Mobile Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LGMobile) and the winner will be drawn in accordance with the following terms and conditions. [2] Submission Period: March 21, 2012 ~ April 11, 2012 [3] Winners for prizes will be announced onApril 16, 2012 but the dates are subjected to change due to unexpected circumstances. [4] To enter and apply, Participants must sign up for Facebook.By entering Participants accept and agree to allow access to profile information set out to their privacy setting, and understand such data will be collected, stored and processed as required for the Promotion. [5] Entries needs to be authorized by sponsor before it appears on the voting section. Entries that are incomplete, illegal or contains statements of a racist, sexist or defamatory nature or statements glorifying violence or which could be construed as deriding or insulting or similarly offending specific individuals or groups will not be approved.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
[1] Facebook use may be limited or restricted by applicable law of the country where entrants reside. Therefore, Participants are obligated to supply correct postal address matching with current residence. We reserve the right to verify eligibility of Participants so that the winner prize can be revoked if residence and profile address is different.
[2] Incomplete, illegible, indecipherable or incorrect entries are not eligible to win. We reserve the right to dismiss Participants if one of the following is conducted by Participants (1) Use of false or other people’s personal information for entry (2) Bulk entries using multiple accounts.[3]Entry may not contain, as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, any content that: (1) is sexually explicit or suggestive; unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic; contains nudity; (2) promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message; (4) is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group;(5) defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies; (6) communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which Sponsor wishes to associate; and/or violates any Korean law or the law of the country, the entrant resides in or is unethical or illegal. [4] By submitting an entry, Participants acknowledge and agree that Sponsor may obtain many other similar entries, and may possibly produce similar material associated with this Promotion and/or other promotions staged by Sponsor. Furthermore Participants waive any or all possible claims that any entry by the Participant may be similar to other entries. No compensation is due to the Participant in connection with submitted content. [5] By submitting an entry, each entrant hereby grants permission for the entry to be posted on www.facebook.com/LGmobile or other Sponsor on/offline channel. Each entrant agrees that Promotion Parties (as defined in this document) are not responsible for any unauthorized use of entries by third parties. Promotion Parties do not guarantee the posting of any entry and may remove a posted entry at any time.

During the course of the realization of the Story Winners’ story or plan, the total length may be no longer than three (3) days and the total value may not exceed $5000(USD). Optimus L7 Prize: LG Optimus L7, will be shipped by international mail. After receipt, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner such as choosing local providers available and opening service. The approximate retail value may vary according to country and season.
PRIZE DETAILS
[1] The prize may be taxable and the winner will be responsible for any tax arising. Winners are subject to abide by the income reporting and, if applicable, the payment of any taxes due per the laws, rules and regulations of the winners’ country of residence.
[2] Prizes will be announced in LG Mobile Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LGMobile) during the Promotion. The winner must confirm his/her availability to accept the prize and supply correct postal address and phone number otherwise they forfeit. (1) Damage to a package during shipment will be handled and covered by shipping company according to their policy (2) The Sponsor shall not be liable for any problem found on the prize after receipt. (3) The winner may have to pay import taxes, or any other taxes in compliance with applicable law of any government. Noncompliance with such regulation can result in delivery being delayed or returned.
[3] If the winner is under the age of 19 or minors under the law of the country, parents or a legal guardian is obligated to provide a legally binding agreement that can verify legal authority.
[4] LGE reserves the right to issue the prize to another Participant(s) in discretion if term and conditions are not met by the winner as follows, (1) The prize is not confirmed by the winner within 4 days from announcement (2) The legal guardian cannot be verified for the winner who is a minor by law or regulation of any government (3) The winner fails to comply with the tax law upon prize receipt.
[5] The process of realizing the “TimelessMoment” will be filmed and photographed. The Story Winners must agree to grant the Sponsor for filming and photographing the process of realizing the “Timeless Moment” story or plan.
All prize details are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Smartphone service not included. All prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of prize is permitted, except by Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Any and all federal, state and local taxes on the prizes, and any other costs, fees, and expenses not explicitly stated herein as being awarded, including but not limited to smartphone service, are the sole responsibility of the winners.
DETERMINATION OF WINNERS
The Story Winners will be determined and announced onApril 16, 2012(Dates are subject to change without notice) Story Winner will be selected based on the following criteria:

Determination of the winners will be determined by DOMO, Inc. (the “Administrator”), whose decisions are final regarding all matters of this Promotion. Entries submitted are only eligible for this Promotion.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
Winners will be notified via email by April 16, 2012( Dates are subjected to change due to unexpected circumstances). If the potential winner (i) cannot be contacted after a reasonable attempt has been made by Administrator (as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion); (ii) fails to timely return the required paperwork without alteration and in the form presented by Administrator; (iii) refuses the prize; and/or (iv) the prize or prize notification is rejected or returned as undeliverable, such potential winner forfeits all rights to be deemed a winner in the Promotion and receive the prize, and an alternate potential winner may be determined at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The potential Prize Winners will be required to sign and return to Administrator an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release including (where lawful) a publicity release for receipt by Sponsor within five (5) days of notification in order to claim his/her prize. If any required documents are not returned within the number of days specified in the notification correspondence, or the potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if any notification is returned as undeliverable, then the prize may be forfeited at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Acceptance of any prize shall constitute and signify Winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor may use the winner’s name, city, state, likeness, and/or prize information in connection with the Promotion, worldwide, including the Internet, without limitation and without further payment or consideration, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor shall not incur any liability whatsoever to the extent Sponsor chooses to refrain from any exploitation of its rights hereunder. Winners will indemnify Promotion Parties against all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable counsel fees and legal expenses) arising out of any breach of the terms of these Official Rules.
Ownership of Content
During the course of this Promotion, Participants will submit his/her own created contents (story and plan), photo and video. Participants bear sole liability and sole responsibility for the legality of these data and ensuring that they have the necessary rights to digital data supplied by them. During the course of realizing the “Timeless Moment” story or plan of the Story Winners, there will be filming and photographing. The Winners must agree to grant the Sponsor an exclusive license to use the story, images, and video clips and make them available for use for marketing purpose or otherwise. These contents (including dates) may be altered, changed or modified by the sponsor if necessary.
Participants’ submitted digital data and information automatically grant LG ELECTRONICS an exclusive license to use these data and information unconditionally. They are not entitled to claim any remuneration for the granting of these rights. The Participants still retain the title to their submitted digital data and information.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Except where prohibited by law and to the extent that the negative consequences described below are the foreseeable result of matters within the reasonable control of the Promotion Parties and Facebook (the “Released Parties”) and are the direct consequence of negligence, breach of these Official Rules or other default by any of them, the Released Parties are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entry of information, human error, technical malfunction, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failure of any telephone, computer or other network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, inability to access the Website, for the inability to upload or download any Promotion-related materials from the Website, if any, or for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, delayed, garbled, inaccurate, stolen, incorrect or incomplete Entries.
The Released Parties are not responsible for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of a prize, or from participation in this Promotion. Note that insurance is not provided for the winners, it is the winners’ sole responsibility for what may happen during the course of pursuing the story or plan.
Further, except to the extent that any personal injury or death is caused by the Released Parties’ negligence or breach of these Official Rules and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law each entrant agrees that the Released Parties shall not be responsible for any claims, losses, liability, and damages of any kind asserted against any of them, incurred, sustained, or arising in connection with participation in this Promotion or the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize including but not limited to, any injury, death, damage, loss, or accident to person or property, or from the respective entrant’s breach of these Official Rules or any agreement(s).
By participating in this Promotion, you agree that no claim shall be asserted against Sponsor, affiliates or any of their respective directors, officers, employees or agents in respect of any and all losses or injuries (including without limitation special, indirect or consequential losses), damages, rights, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever that result from your participation to this Promotion and/or your acceptance and enjoyment of the prize. You further agree to make no claim to Facebook and completely release Facebook in relation to Promotion.
Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that to the fullest extent permitted by laws, the Promotion Parties and Facebook have the right to seek damages or other remedies from any entrant responsible for such attempt, if any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the operation of this Promotion be made.
JURISDICTION: In case of Promotion related dispute (dispute, controversy or policy related matters), the dispute will be handled under the law of Republic of Korea. Mediation should take priority in case of dispute and this negotiation for mediation should be completed within 30 days from the day mediation occurred. In case of mediation failure, a third party (International Chamber of Commerce) will be requested to mediate the dispute. If the mediation ends in a rupture, a suit can be raised by either side against another. In principle, the defeated party should be charged for the all expenses caused by the suit.
PRIVACY PROTECTION AND DATA PROTECTION:
Personal information collected hereunder is data that were given permission to LG Mobile by users to have access on Facebook: about me, birthday, hometown, location, like, email and additional permission for posting on Facebook publish stream. Personal information of Participants, submitted for this Promotion, will be used for the purpose of determining the winner, confirming eligibility, announcing the Winners, and prize delivery only, and be discarded after such process and in accordance with the LG’s Privacy Policy at http://www.lg.com/global/general/privacy.jsp. Each Entrant expressly agrees to the use of his/her Personal Information for such purpose. Sponsor, and Administrator will not sell, share, or otherwise disclose Personal Information collected in any manner with third parties, other than those parties necessary to fulfill the above purposes, unless Entrant has given his/her prior express consent to receive additional information from Sponsor or a third. Personal information will be stored in a server belonging to LG CNS at 3 F LG IDC, 459-9 Gasan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul Korea .
GENERAL CONDITIONS
LGE, the sponsor of this Promotion reserves the right to amend the contents of the Terms & Conditions without notice during the Promotion period.
