These terms and conditions (the "Rules") apply to the Novation Gear Giveaway – Win Launch (the "Competition"). By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.
The Competition is organised by Focusrite Audio Engineering Limited incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 02357989 whose registered office is at Windsor House, Turnpike Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire HP12 3FX (“Focusrite”)
To enter the Competition for a chance to win you must provide Focusrite with your name, country and email address by completing the competition form.
Once you’ve submitted your name and email address you will be emailed a special link to a page and each time you share the giveaway through that page you increase your chances of winning. Your chance of winning also increases each time someone you share that page with enters. Doing so is the equivalent of putting your name in the hat multiple times. The winner is chosen at random and not the person who has the most shares.
Focusrite will select at random one winner out of the submitted entrants.
The winner shall receive a single prize consisting of:
• 1x Novation Audiohub 2x4;
• 1x Novation Launchpad Pro; and
• 1x Novation Launchkey of their choice.
Entrants may only enter the Competition once and must be resident in a Participating Territory to be eligible for a prize, therefore the Competition is void in all other countries and where prohibited or restricted by law.
Key Competition Dates:
• 21 July 2016, 16:00 GMT competition starts
• 4 August 2016, 16:00 GMT competition ends
• the winner will be notified by email by 18 August 2016
• full results will be published by 1 September 2016
• failure to claim the prize by 8 September 2016 may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner
Each entrant may submit one entry; submitting multiple entries will disqualify you.
By entering the Competition (and you warrant that) you are aged 18 or over (or have permission from a parent or guardian) and that you are not an employee (or a family member of an employee) of Focusrite, Novation or any company (including any subsidiaries) involved in operating or sponsoring the Competition or awarding any prizes.
If you are a prize winner then Focusrite may require you to prove your identity including a proof of your address. Examples of identification documents would include, passport, driving licence and utility bills.
By claiming a prize, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Focusrite reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
Focusrite reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules.
In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to a Competition, the decision of Focusrite shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
Focusrite reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or the Rules without notice. Any changes will be amended to these terms and conditions.
There is no charge to register for use of the website.
Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Focusrite reserves the right to substitute prizes for prizes of equal or greater value at any time. No prizes can be redeemed for cash.
Focusrite cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any prize. Focusrite is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Competition. Nothing shall exclude Focusrite's liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and Focusrite reserves the right to use the names and addresses of winners, any equipment the winner may use, their photographs and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity.
Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and subject to these Rules will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent. Please see Focusrite or Novation's privacy policy for further details. Data relating to entrants will be retained by Focusrite for a reasonable period after the Competition closes to assist Focusrite to operate competitions in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries on the Competition as well as sending information about Focusrite and Novation's products to entrants.
The Competition and Rules will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. Focusrite makes no representation that materials on the Website relating to this Competition are appropriate or available for use at all locations and it is your responsibility to ensure that by accessing the Website and entering the Competition is illegal or strictly prohibited by the laws of the country you are in.
