TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. General
1.1. These terms and conditions apply to the Trail Tap Game promotion (the “Promotion”). By participating in the Promotion you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
1.2. The Promotion is organized by Shimano Europe B.V. (“Shimano”), High Tech Campus 92, 5656 AG Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The Promotion is organized in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance 2014 (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen 2014). Dutch law is applicable on these terms and conditions.
1.3. There is no entry fee required to enter the Promotion.
1.4. These terms and conditions and all other information regarding the Promotion are available on https://mtb.shimano.com/trailtap/
2. Participation
2.1. The promotion is open to persons aged 18 and over, residing in the European Union. Employees of Shimano and its affiliated companies and the immediate family members (spouse, children) and any person directly or indirectly involved in the development or administration of the Promotion, are not eligible to participate or win.
2.2. Residents of Bosnia Herzegovina, Greece, Kosovo, Macedonia, Portugal and Sweden are excluded from participation in the Promotion.
2.3. Participants have to register for the promotion via the online subscription form at https://mtb.shimano.com/trailtap/
2.4. The registration period is open between from the 1st of May 2020 to the 31st of May 2020, 12:00AM CET. Registrations received outside this time frame will be excluded from the Promotion. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
3. Promotion Rules
3.1. Participants have to play the Trail Tap game at https://mtb.shimano.com/trailtap/, after which one winner per level (medium, hard, insane) with the highest score will win the prize.
3.2. The selection of the winner will take place on the 3rd of June 2020. The winner will be notified by email in the same week.
3.3. If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 days after being contacted by Shimano, the winner is deemed to have rejected the prize and shall no longer be eligible to receive the prize. Shimano shall be entitled to select a new winner.
3.4. Shimano reserves the right to withhold one or more prizes if, in accordance with the conditions in paragraph 3, no winner can be appointed before 3rd of June 2020.
4. Prizes:
4.1. The winner of the medium level will receive PRO Turnix Offroad Saddle with a retail value of 129 Euro. The winner of the hard level will receive a PRO Griffon Offroad Saddle with a retail value of 99 Euro. The winner of the Insane level will receive PRO Stealth Offroad Saddle with a retail value of 89 Euro.
4.2. All prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
4.3. The prize winner shall be responsible for paying taxes, if any.
5. Data Protection
5.1. Any personal information that participants provide in connection with the Promotion shall be used by Shimano to administer this Competition, contact participants, and for the other purposes set forth in Shimano’s privacy policy located at http://www.shimano.com/en/privacypolicy.html. By entering this Promotion, you agree to and accept that privacy policy.
6. Disclaimer:
6.1. Shimano does not accept any liability regarding any damages, of any kind, arising out or related to (participation in) the Promotion.
6.2. In case of any situation of force majeure Shimano reserves the right to withhold the prizes. Shimano is not obliged to hand out an alternative prize.
6.3. Unless the contexts otherwise demands, words importing any gender shall be interpreted to mean any or all genders.
6.4. Contact details submitted by the participants in order to register for the Promotion will only be used in relation to the Promotion.
6.5 In case of any situation of cheating or hacking Shimano reserves the right to withhold the prizes. Shimano is not obliged to hand out an alternative prize.
